Joseph McQueen leads enterprise collaboration strategy at American Eagle Outfitters, where he has driven full Webex Suite adoption across a complex retail environment of 1,000+ stores and 4,200 users. With more than 15 years of continuous Webex experience dating back to Cisco’s 2007 acquisition, he has overseen the transition from CUCM to Webex Calling, the standardization of 300+ custom conference rooms, and the integration of Meetings, Messaging, Webinars, and Contact Center into daily retail operations.
Joseph is the architect behind AEO’s extensive Webex automation platform. His team has built 50+ custom bots and API integrations that have transformed store provisioning from a one-hour manual process into a five-minute, fully consistent workflow. These solutions connect Webex with Meraki, ServiceChannel, Jira, and internal store systems to deliver automated device provisioning, intelligent ticket enrichment, real-time alerting, and AI-assisted support. The same platform is now expanding into Webex Contact Center AI agents designed to reduce seasonal staffing needs and preserve institutional knowledge.
His work emphasizes practical scale: 4,572 devices under management, “Real Vision Rooms” combining Cisco Codec EQ, Pro Ceiling Microphones, and wireless cameras, and the integration of Cisco EQ into AEO’s Town Hall for accessible large-scale Webex Webinars. The results include dramatically faster deployments, higher operational consistency, and a measurable shift of support effort from repetitive tasks to higher-value problem solving.
At Webex One, Joseph shares a retail practitioner’s view of what full-suite Webex adoption looks like when automation, device strategy, and AI are treated as core operational capabilities rather than side projects.
