Day 1 Opening Keynote
Experiences Amplified: Elevating human connection with AI for better employee and customer experiences

AI is shaping our collective future in novel ways. It is one of the most robust tools transforming industries and tackling some of the biggest organizational challenges, influencing how people work, shaping customer interactions, and improving how people connect.

Across all these interactions, experience matters more than ever, and AI plays a critical role in reshaping the future of customer and employee experience.

Hear from Cisco leaders Jeetu Patel, Anurag Dhingra, and Ted Kezios on how we’re future-proofing workplaces, ensuring AI-readiness and digital resilience are built-in, and transforming the workplace from a physical place to a set of connected touchpoints that effortlessly work together to amplify human experiences and connections. The future-proof workplace is a place where the experience truly matters.

We will explore new frontiers of technology through a series of discussions with thought leaders across technology, media, and design. First, we are thrilled to welcome Mike Rockwell, Apple VP of the Vision Products Group, to discuss the emergence of spatial computing. Then, Jeetu Patel will be joined by Alexandr Wang, Founder and CEO of Scale.ai, to examine the future of the AI technology landscape. Finally, award-winning journalist Fareed Zakaria will join us for an engaging fireside chat on global policy and how AI is revolutionizing the global landscape.

Employee and Customer Experience in Action

Incredible experiences aren’t grandiose. The small, simple moments come together to make experiences incredible—giving users time back in their day, eliminating fatigue from meetings, and turning big ideas into amazing action plans. Only Webex can connect these experiences across the entire workplace, with cloud transformation success, a unified AI Assistant, and the power of One Cisco across networking, collaboration, and security.

Cisco Collaboration Devices leader Snorre Kjesbu will take the stage to share that technology is the foundation upon which the future workplace must be built and how Cisco is uniquely positioned to help customers realize this vision with a unified AI fabric and a full front-end to back-end experience that brings together meetings, calling, contact center, apps, and devices. Snorre will be joined on stage by Hasmukh Ranjan, CIO of AMD, Nikki Parsons, VP of Akamai, Eric Reed, CTO of Cigna Healthcare, and Matt Messick, CIO of the Dallas Cowboys for a riveting discussion on AI and the future of employee experience.

They will share new findings from our Customer Experience AI maturity model, and take a deep dive into practical use cases and hands-on demos. Jay will be joined on stage by our partner, Matt Yanchyshyn, VP, Marketplace & Partner Services, AWS, and Webex customers Doss Tychius, CIO of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, and Raj Patel, VP of Digital Patient Experience, Mass General Brigham, for discussions into how we’re advancing Webex Contact Center and the value our customers are seeing.

His current “Off The Record” World Tour stopped in 28 cities across the US before heading to international destinations, and a set from “Off the Record” became available as his fourth Netflix stand-up special titled Where Was I in 2023. Where Was I has recently scored two 2024 Emmy nominations for ‘Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded) and ‘Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special’ as well as Golden Globe and Critic’s Choice Association nominations, sold out Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl, enjoyed a 10-consecutive-show run at the Beacon Theatre, sold out three O2 shows (50K tickets total) in London, and set a record for the most tickets sold by a non-German comedian in history in Berlin.

On the television side, Day Zero is producing several scripted and unscripted series including Amazon Prime Video’s first South African original, “LOL: Last One Laughing.” The six-part unscripted comedy series produced and hosted by Trevor pits 10 famous South African comedians and entertainers against one another to see who can keep a straight face while simultaneously trying to make their opponents laugh – and lose. DZP also produced Emmy Award-winning The World According to Football for Showtime, The Turning Point series for MSNBC/Peacock, two Kid of the Year TV specials for Nickelodeon, and the HBOMax/Discovery+ special For All Humankind.
